Sustainable Cotswold Wedding flowers

Your wedding flowers will express the vibe of your day.

Whether you are planning an intimate boutique event or a lavish marquee based party, I can guide and advise as required. I have a team of gifted florists I can call on to assist me, so no wedding is too big and no event too small.
We will have an informal consultation to chat through your wedding plans- I love to hear all the details- so I can picture your big day and advise how the flowers will best enhance it. I will often visit a new venue so I can help to advise on options and offer advice to maximize your budget.

After our meeting, I will provide you with a detailed budget estimate and also a “Mood Board” showing images of each floral element we discuss to help you to picture how it will all come together. This can show a variety of styles and table dressing options etc.

I will use British flowers and foliage for your big day.

Spring

March, April, May

Picture a Spring wedding radiant with soft, sugar almond pastel tones and pops of bright colours in blues, pinks or yellows. A bridal bouquet bursting with arcs of tulips, butter soft ranunculus, heady scent of hyacinths, towers of camassia and fronds of fritillary and hellebore providing delicate accents. Structural branches of emerging catkins and soft magnolia buds bringing texture. Bright viburnum heads and dreamy boughs of blossom, which trumpet the arrival of Spring!

Summer

June, July, August

As English as strawberries and cream! Picture soft boughs of trailing roses and honeysuckle, acres of meadow grasses awash with poppies, daisies and cornflowers. Gardens brimming with stunning scented English roses, spires of delphiniums, lupins and foxgloves buzzing with bees. Summer wedding décor can be bountiful with all this and more. Trailing foliage creating WOW factor installations such as flower ball “explosions” or teamed with trailing clematis, honeysuckle and sweet pea trails for joyous and naturally styled archways.

autumn

September, October, November

While summer fades, the joy of British flowers continue. Dahlias become queens of the flower patch to rival English roses for shape, tonal colour and textural variety. Combined with cosmos, scabious, and the soft movement of slender grasses they offer a truly elegant dressing. Add structural seed heads, branches of russet foliage, trailing vines and even feathers to truly bring the outside in.

Venues

I have had the pleasure of dressing all kinds of venues, large and small, across the Cotswolds’ and beyond.

Whether a Manor House, Marquee, Tipi or Cotswold Barn my advice is similar- pick a few key elements and go large! Accent staircases or add WOW factor installations such as floral chandeliers, flower balls or planks.

Let your imagination run wild!
